We have a new shop and workshop at 1A Bell Street in the historic Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury in north Dorset.

Shaftesbury is a busy market town, filled with lovely, independent artisan businesses.

It is home to many historical sites, dating back to over 1100 years ago as King Alfred's Benedictine Abbey town.

For galanthophiles, February's snowdrop season is particularly stunning as a town community initiative saw the planting of hundreds of thousands of snowdrops to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee year.

Our shop is located in Bell Street, directly opposite the Bell Street Car Park, where for £3.50 you can park for 4 hours, plenty of time to see all the tourist attractions too – including Gold Hill and its museum, the Abbey and Abbey Gardens, Park Walk and Castle Hill. The 360 degree views from the top of the town are beautiful. If you want to park all day there's also Angel Lane Car Park for 10 hours at £6 or Barton Hill Car Park is just a short stroll into town, and it's free for up to 72 hours.

There is a busy high street and plenty of small businesses that make a day trip attractive.
